welcome message

(EGC) was established in 1965. Since then, club members have continuously responded to community needs for beautification at numerous public spaces. The Club and community benefit from, and appreciate the efforts of novice-through-expert gardeners working together.

Fundraising Projects
The Evergreen Garden Club generates funds for its community service projects principally through two activities:

The Members Plant Sale & Garden Tour
The members plant sale is held on the alternate years from the Garden Tour.. Plants are acclimated to our altitude and have been grown in members gardens, potted up and sold. The money raised helps support the EGC community projects.

Community Service Projects
The Community Gardens include 7 different gardens in the Evergreen area where our members volunteer many hours each growing season by planting, weeding and watering.

JANUARY 13th, 2009 - Power Propagation
Jim Borland, "If it produces seed, you can grow it. You can grow lots of them. How about 10,000 plants in 6 months? All it takes is seed, pots and soil."
